Hello! My name is Amy Cohen. I’m a GIS specialist and freelance photographer living in Wilton, California. I recently completed a fantastic GIS internship with the Everglades Foundation, a not-for-profit environmental organization dedicated to the sustainable management of the Florida Everglades. I’m interested in geospatial information collection, web mapping technologies, cartographic design, and remote sensing, in environmental as well as urban contexts. I’m a big fan of open spaces, thoroughly enjoy camping, and find infrastructure kept in locked boxes curiously enchanting. I also enjoy freelance photography and design, and have had the pleasure of working with some amazing artists and musicians, including Panic Bomber, Matt Gajewski, the TM Sisters, Liana Pailodze, Joe Rhemer, and the Jean Marie.
